When I was young, I encountered  the Scandinavian Spits breeds and they made an indelible impression on me. In 1984, the time was right for the arrival of our first Elkhound called Esta, five years later followed by Torwald. From that day on, we have always had more than one dog.

At this moment we have Jente, Fedor and Svala, our Norwegian Elkhounds. Together they form a wonderful team.

Our kennel “Van de Wueste Graaf” is named after a small river nearby, who was of great importance in the early day’s for the inhabitants here.
